[ OUR STORY ]
Resilient Power. Refined Living.
Fifty years of Colorado electrical craftsmanship — reimagined for how you live today.
[ WHO WE ARE ]
A Colorado family business, built over fifty years.
Family-Owned · Colorado-Grown · Since 1976
CEC Lifestyles begins with a name Colorado homeowners already trust. In 1976, Larry Curtis founded Courtesy Electric and spent the next five decades wiring Colorado’s new construction — earning a BuildZoom Top 3% reputation and a team that now numbers more than 200.
The lifestyle insight came from Kevin Curtis. Remodeling his own home, Kevin saw how electrically intensive modern living had become — landscape lighting, electric pergolas, automated shades, whole-home audio, EV charging, smart everything. Families no longer needed just an electrician; they needed one accountable team to design, integrate, and stand behind it all.
And Colorado’s grid hasn’t kept pace. Wind events, wildfire-driven shutoffs, and severe weather make outages a fact of life here. That’s why CEC Lifestyles built CEC Home Pulse — redundant, intelligent backup power engineered specifically for Colorado homes.
